Photography has chosen me time and time again.
While growing up, I began taking pictures here and there, but it wasn’t until a trip to India that photography became a passion.
My scholastic background is in the areas of Sociology, Education, and Personal Coaching. Photography became a way of capturing these disciplines in a visual realm. It also became a “calling” of sorts as I began accepting requests for my work.
My portrait work as a photographer is important to me as I have an opportunity to preserve meaningful times for families; a role I’m honored to accept.
I have been recognized for two consecutive years as a finalist in Seattle’s Most Awesome Family Photographer Awards, my work has been published, and was part of a documentary that aired on the Oprah Winfrey Network in 2011.
Currently, I am pursuing a project that will bring my passions together: photography and my natural love for helping people lead empowered lives.
Photography has chosen me…
